For the Manifesto

Tenent of "Slow Judaism:"

In the spirituality consumer economy, we are consuming our leaders. In Slow Judaism, we are unwilling to create another organization based on driving our healers, teachers, administrators into the ground.

What is the role of fun? In particular, the fun of struggling together in chevra.

B"H

Speaking of slow judaism, this timely wisdom just appeared in my email from friend Llyn:

“slow way down to speed up.”

By slowing way down, and focusing, we strengthen our signal, so that we more quickly connect with dynamic allies with whom we are resonant. Farmers tell us that the more we slow water down when we run it through a field – the faster it infiltrates. As we slow down, so we infiltrate. Let all natural facts be social strategy metaphors."

Said the master to his apprentice: "Slow down! We don't have much time!" :)

"Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy."

Hehe, or "tenent," at least. We fired Tenet.

Thanks for catching that.
